Terms of Business

Quotes are free, given in writing, and valid for 30 days. Prices are based on the site as inspected. Where ground conditions, buried services or structures are discovered that could not reasonably have been seen at survey, we will stop, explain the issue and agree any change in writing before continuing.

Where a deposit is required for materials it will be stated on your quote. The balance is due on completion unless a staged schedule is agreed in writing. We accept bank transfer.

Start dates and durations are estimates given in good faith and may be affected by weather or material supply. You agree to provide reasonable site access, and access to water and power where the work requires it.

You confirm that the boundary line and ownership of any fence being replaced are correct, and that any necessary permissions — planning, listed building, conservation area or landlord consent — are in place. We are happy to advise, but we cannot obtain these on your behalf.

New installations carry a 10-year workmanship guarantee. It covers faults in our installation, not fair wear and tear, natural movement or weathering of timber and stone, accidental or storm damage, or work later altered by others. Manufacturer warranties on materials are passed to you where they exist.

Where a contract is agreed away from our business premises you have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If you ask us to start within that period you remain liable for work carried out and materials ordered up to the point of cancellation.

We hold £2m public liability insurance and can supply a certificate on request. If something is not right, contact us on 07983 872023 or arcfencingandpaving@gmail.com and we will acknowledge within five working days.
